Where to find help for my mother (with dementia) for assistance in San Antonio, Texas, she has no money.? all she has is social security to live, no savings, she rented, thinks she will need help from county? Any suggestions would be very useful.
How would you let your mother live with you? She took care of you, now it's your turn.
God bless
Contact United Way for the region. They will be able to help you or tell you where you can get help.
Good luck!
You should contact the Hospice "center in your area. They should help you in cases like your mother. Otherwise, they can guide you to which department can. If she has the worst case it can not continue to live without 24 hours of constant care seven days a week. She eventually willhave or linked to or be in a room special care that you do wouyld TBE able to manage in later stages. Most people with dementia (as my mother) can not control something (intestines, kidneys, eventualy they even forget to breath or loss of contact that allows them to live.
Sorry, but you have a bad way, if you keep at home. no matter how good the intentions were yor.
Good luck.
