Blood Sugar TesterTotally confused by Freestyle tester diabetic blood sugar?

I recently bought 2 Lite freestyle diabetes blood testers However, I bought two countries and their readings are totally different, how can I find true and why their views are so different.
A read another read 16 9

does it take for the local pharmacist to help you.

On the site of the Freestyle, you can request a test fluid. Its basically sugar water that is at a certain force. You can do this with both feet and see what are resukts. Having these different readings would say that one is defective. I have used for centuries afreestyle and found a reliable meter.

The meter must be encoded. Find the code number on the vial of test strips. Make sure your test strips to find the code and ensure that both are coded correctly for the test strips that you use with each of them.

Then test the two meters using the sugar solution that accompanies the device. If they fall within the range indicated below the code number on the vial of test strips, they are probably playing with enough accuracy for the test.

A range of 20% is allowed by law in home meters. This means it can be a difference between the two meters, but both will be within acceptable limits.

If you do not know how to use your feet, ask your nurse, or pharmacist to show you and check the settings. Also, keep in mind that when you test two or even three different meters, even from the same drop of blood, there will be some variation.

If you still can not read that close, then dial the 1-800 number of the company. They are very useful there.

them back to the place where you from - it could be defective!

I do understsnd why you bought two, but you need to repeat, and ask the pharmacist why you have two readings and deferred ....

do a control test on both. My doctor told me not to use two meters so you will always get the diference in the range of numbers it depends on how close it is if you need to be concerned or not. I do not think the difference you get is a big deal, but you can ask your doctor if they want you on two different meters or just over one.

Is this the type of meter you have to calibrate? If you use the same test with two sticks of different meters you probably need to put both. Good reading instruction.
Good luck

Have you tried to enter your serial number on the link below? I had a mini freestyle and thought readings werent quite right and went to the site and found they were recalling certain serial lines: -

Also, do u have a small bottle of liquid with the meter. You can test the accuracy of this.

It is normal that they change to a maximum of 10 points (using the U.S. format, I'm not sure how it converts, but yours be far away). I would recommend that you check to make sure you use unexpired tape and ensure that the code (on the bottle) is the same as the code on the machines. Check your manual for how to change the codes. If they are correct, the use of control solution on a tape for each machine. If you do not control solution, or if it was fine once you find out, call the company (it is on the back of the camera) and talk to them. They will send you a control solution and / or help you understand the problem. They are actually very nice and a good resource (they want you to continue using their product). Ask them to give you the control solution for free if they suggest, they always said yes to me.
Good luck, hope it helped.
