Caring For The Elderly

Caring For The ElderlyWhat are my rights as the mother if the person she lived with and cared for dies?

My mother has lived with and cared for an old friend of his for the last 2 years at home for the elderly woman in Indiana. The woman just died a week ago and now my mother is not sure of her rights as a tenant. The woman had no will and his family to New York is asked to inspect the property. Nearly everything in the house are my mother. What are the rights of my mother and she should move? If yes, how long did it move?

They give him a reasonable time to travel and take his property with 0.30 days seems reasonable?

If it has a lease, he transferred to the estate and is still legally binding. If it does not, his family may terminate the lease from month to month, with notice, usually 30-60 days depending on the state. In general, state law requires you to enable the owner to enter with reasonable notice in advance.
