What is the functional classification of the drug Cataflam? Any idea?
Hello, Cataflam is a name for diclofenac sodium, which is used as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs for short. They inhibit the enzyme that is cyclooxgenase an enzyme and a chemical inside that acts as a messenger for the reactions synapse pain. It is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic, and is commonly prescribed for migraines or sinus headaches. In the same group as paracetomol, ibuprofen and aspirin, but is slightly stronger and with a little different effect.
I hope this helps, will
