chiropractic techniques? Technical airgun
I've seen used on horses, but not people. It is used on horses, as more large spines and the length of the spine. As for people I'm not sure if it is used.
The air gun is used with an attached instrument that allows a velovity high, low amplitude thrust to the spine or other joint needed. It is used safely on PPL all the time. The equipment is used a little in the U.S., but has not filtered for the rest of the world, so very just yet. The size of the person being adjusted (or riding!) Has nothing to do with technique or the technique, more or less strong force or speed than any other technique. The advantage may be that the force is made more consistent than a manual (hand) adjustment. The technique is safe, and probably very effective, provided that the practitioner knows what they are doing (which is more than likely the case). If you have questions, ask the doctor in question, or request a second opinion. I'm not sure the actual name of the technique, sorry. A similar concept is applied to a device called an "activator". activator methods of research "on the net and see what happens.
