Christian perspective on the hospice movement, and Hospices in general? Heya
I have to write an essay on the hospice movement, and what Christians believe hospices. Are the Christians out there have ideas or something specific to say about them? I offer this question to people of all beliefs, but they are Christians, I am concentrating on.
Thank you very much,

I think that hospices (as a place for terminally ill patients to live until they die naturally) are wonderful places. I think that in this era of more people living to the elderly and the increase of cancer, they are particularly important and more are needed. I think we could use hospice to fight against the rise of euthanasia, if proper functioning of a hospice can be a quiet, beautiful and despair possible antidote.
Hospices should be about life in the past, do not die.
If they do their job, then I think they are beautiful.
What types of views could have on palliative care that Christians are just different than someone elses? Other than they may think that only Christians Hospices are acceptable? There are all kinds of hospitals there. Some are Christian, some secular, and other religions such as Islam, Judaism and Buddhism.
If you want the Christian view of anything, then all you need to know is that if it is not Christian, they do not approve of it. I think that Christians disapprove of any hospice that does not preach to the dying that they need to save their immortal souls through Jesus.
I happen to be Christian, but I disagree with the way Chrisitan condemn others for not sharing their beliefs, their beliefs and push the others. Christians disapprove of me and call me not a good enough Christian. Therefore, I do not attend church and I would not be placed in a hospice was a Christian. I would not for my days to be filled with a group of crazy self just preaching to me.
