What on earth is the difference between braces or Invisalign braces unclear??? I read one review that the stage clear straps are slightly thicker for Invisalign, is this true? x
That's what I could find on the following website:
http://www.mahonorthodontics.com/clearst ...
1. Of course, as you said stage clear braces are slightly thicker,
2. Invisalign is made with a 3D simulation using computer software.
3. Therefore, treatment with Invisalign will be more accurate.
4. On the other hand, I would say clear approach fingerprinting and make the trays manually in the laboratory.
5. The cost of Invisalign is more.
6. Even if the plates are thicker to clear the stage, it is not as rigid as Invisalign. So, even if similar cases are treated at once, the degree of movement obtained by step Clear is limited.
7. Since Invisalign requires more precision and as far as I know sometimes requires interproximal discing (stripping the enamel between the two surfaces if the teeth) to create the space, the dentist or orthodontist must obtain certification for this.
Hoe this helped:)
Stage Clear is a slight variation on the process of Invisalign although I think it is disputed between the two and how they are linked.
I think they both work in much the same way, with each preparing molds of your teeth to plastic step by step braces to move teeth into their correct position
Apparently, they both work well, though most people have used the Invisalign method of what I read on the clear-braces.org is a forum for people who use them.
I had the Invisalign treatment and it worked well so far, but I wouldnt know if it was better than the other. Invisalign is quite thin and almost impossible to see if u look rly close
