Training in psychiatry in Ireland
In Ireland, all psychiatric training programs are governed by the Irish Psychiatric Training Committee (IPTC). It is a statutory body that is recognized by the medical and Graduate Council (PGMDB) and the Medical Council as a regulator of psychiatric training. The curricula of basic and higher levels receive educational approval from Royal College of Psychiatrists in London.

There are currently 12 training programs in Ireland, including:
