Dog Skin Disorders

I took my dog to the vet, he has a hereditary skin condition, they gave me a lot of drugs and cost me an arm and a leg and nothing they gave me helped. I do not really have the money to keep taking him to the vet so they can give me some things that are not in work. So I was wondering if anyone had dealt with this kind of thing or has any kind of ideas that will help you.

there could be hundreds of people with dogs who have drug illness.what even your account?

What kind of dog do you have: shar pei, bulldog?
these two races are almost guaranteed to have skin problems.
