As mentioned in previous articles in the last stage of the menstrual cycle normally a coating endometriosis inside the uterus is removed, known as menstrual blood, but some of endometriosis tissue grow somewhere in the body causing endometriosis. Endometriosis is also responding to hormonal signals from the monthly menstrual cycle, strengthening tissues, break it, and eliminate them through the menstrual period. In this article we will discuss the endometrial biopsy.

I. Definition
In case of anomaly irregular and heavier vaginal bleeding, endometrial biopsy is the first diagnosis by your doctor will. It's playing at doctor's office, some tissues are removed from the lining of the uterus is removed for diagnosis.

II. Procedure
Endometriosis is a biopsy performed in the office. At bedtime on the exam table, your doctor will insert a straw-like instrument through the opening of the cervix by suction to collect soft tissue lining of the uterus. The collection will be sent to a laboratory for diagnosis. You can leave the doctor's office after the biopsy completed in minutes. Normally, you will feel good, but some women may some cramping during or after the procedure. Your doctor may prescribe a painkiller for you back home.
Your doctor will tell you the following
a) No sex
b) No showers
c) No stamp
for one to two weeks

III. Risks
The endometrial biopsy is a very safe procedure, but with some risks
a) There is little chance that the uterus can be injured during the biopsy.
b) infections caused by bacteria in the uterus.
c) bleeding.
