Started having sex two weeks after childbirth. How long the results are accurate EFA? Two weeks after delivery I could not wait any longer. I took a pregnancy test is negative. I do not know if my period is due, so how do I know if the test is accurate? I finally stopped bleeding from the birth of my second son, so how will I know if I missed my period or not?
Brut. I hope you do not get an infection.
I was in the same boat. I have only 11 days after birth. You should go to the doctor and they can help. It's really hard to say because your body has been and is still going through some changes! Good luck ...
Wow, your body needs a break more than 2 weeks, my opinion .... but it will be difficult to test when you do not know the day you are "late", I would wait a week or two more and then try again.
~ Good Luck
First, unless your doc tells you that you had the green light two weeks is wayyyyyyyyyyyy soon. Secondly, I understand the waiting sucks, but what if you hurt something there??? In addition, if you got pregnant again that fast, I talk to your doc ASAP do not know if you have any questions or not. Do not try to be depressing, but you may be pushing it.
okthis for me is confusing because you have to bleed atleast 4 weeks after having a baby, why not just wait for the next month to know when and if you missed a period.
Generally, they tell you that you should not have sex until you are completely cured of delivery. It is usually six weeks. How you have sex after two weeks is beyond my comprehension. You are not still bleeding? Gross
we never waited more than 2-3 weeks after each of our children. If you are exclusively breastfeeding, then you have a little (nothing is 100%) natural birth control. If this is not it usually takes 4-6 weeks to ovulate after childbirth. If you think you are pregnant then yes, you should see your doc. and do not be embarrassed about wanting to be close to your partner, you've been through a lot and its quite normal. The people waiting are the people who are struggling to regain their libido, and thats normal too! you do what is good for you and what is comfortable. Most patients I see who will call a few weeks after birth and to ask this, or similar question. Regarding the accuracy of the test, usually 4-6 weeks, you should have all the hCG in your system, but it is only average, maybe a week or longer or shorter depending Women. This is also why you do not ovulation immediately because your body is just realized its not pregnant, no more.
You can start having sex when you feel is good for you after giving birth, but unless you want to get pregnant, you should use contraception.
If you are pregnant too soon, your body will suffer a lot of nutrients are exhausted after nine months of pregnancy. The baby may also suffer because of it.
There are other long-term consequences too as brothers and sisters being too close to the age and miss the attention of you and what if they find themselves in the same school year. I worked with two of these families in my career and it is really hard on both children believe me. Constantly over yet one is 9 months younger than the other.
So take a deep breath, test again in two weeks, pray for a negative result and start to use contraception, unless you really want to address all the scenarios described above.
