How do I obtain a second professional opinion on my bag removal surgery eye? I had my eyebags removed just over a year ago. I do not feel that the surgeon has done a very good job. One of the cuts on the side of the eye (my surgeon didn't just cut under his eye, he went out about an inch on each side) looked lumps from day one, and after one year, I was scar revision. Its still not that good, though, and I do not think the surgeon has had enough of the excess skin under the eyes to escape. I asked him, but he said he did. My dilemma is that I think, of course, he said that! and I want a good second medical opinion as to whether the best job possible has been done. I imagine that all cosmetic surgeons stick well, so not sure what to do. Advice? I live in the sout-east, can travel to London, East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells, etc. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Sorry to hear that, unfortunately, there are many plastic surgeons incompetent there. Go ahead and get a second opinion known and trusted plastic surgeon and tell him that the "damage" done and what can be done to rectify the problem. The only regrettable thing is that you have to pay him back, thus costing you more in the long run. choose wisely. There are many options now to tighten / renew the skin by laser treatment that are less invasive ... talk with a real professional. Good luck!
Get a second opinion will not help your situation. If you want to correct the error, go to a good plastic surgeon and get his opinion.
