Eye Diseases And ConditionsTypes of eye disease in rabbits?

Hello, I am a member of 4H and recent exposure of two French lops rabbits were abandoned. I took these two and I'm promoting them, we have contacted the owner who said that their party because they have a kind of chronic eye condition. "I tried to search to know what it is, according to the breeder, it is genetic and passed on from the old doe at her daughter. I quarantine the rest of my rabbits, but I would like to know what is the probability that is contagious, how it could affect their daily lives, we need to put them down?

From my review of basic health, I do not see anything unusual about any of them, and the behavior is quite normal, they seem to have no problem running and see.

Any info would be great, I have an appointment with my vet on Friday.

Bunnies can clamidia which is a disease that humans may also obtain and transmit to children at birth heir. Clamidia can cause blindness and I would like to know if you could get these rabbits checked out.I think it is easy to treat.
