How accurate is the First Response pregnancy test? ok I asked a question similar to this one day ago, but I just took a first response home pregnancy test and read positive. but I read online that if your onetime Urian contains traces of blood that could cause a positive reading when your really not pregnant. Well .. I have a urinary tract infection and I took the test and read positive. The first response test is accurate enough to my urinary infection shoud not make it read positive. the only way to be read as positive if I'm not mistaken pregnant?
You are pregnant. It only tests for the hormone HCG, which the body does when you are pregnant. Blood, etc. UTI would not affect the results of the test.
Congratulations I guess.
You could be pregnant if you do not take hormones or use of fertility treatments. HPTS only detect urinary tract infections HCG in your urine does not occur. Report Abuse
hunni your pregnant
IVE adds a link that tells you the degree of accuracy
I've used nearly a week before my period was and had positive and I am now about 6 days before my birth
Congratulations xx

UTI should have no impact on test x
Blood does not affect the accuracy of pregnancy tests. There are only three reasons why you get a positive effect. One. You have a cyst. Two. You take medications that contain hCG, the pregnancy hormone. Three. You are pregnant.
ur pregnant
Goodluck
but if you want to make sure that you or a blood
take another and if you have another heart Prego positive
Congratulations ...=)
The tests only detect the pregnancy hormone HCG. Nothing else:)
Bravo:)
