physicians in geriatrics? I take care of an87 year old lady, she will slow down, need a doctor. 2 Help is here again. all she wants to do is sleep. it's too good to sleep?
It is not easy to see someone slowly disappear. All of your work to keep its high seems a waste. If she feels it is his time, just be her friend and show him the dignity it deserves.
Keep smiling and talk to anyone else about the situation. Do not get bottled inside you.
She lived for nearly 88 years. She has seen many things in his life. Allow him to share some of his experiences with you and yours to share with her. This can be very rewarding for you both.
All the best.
My God, she's 87 y / o, there is no physical activity, she can handle! Let her go, but if it makes you feel better, "read, play his favorite music, friends come to visit, take her out (if she has difficulty walking, sitting in a wheelchair). It is very noble of you so concerned about his interest! Good luck!
The people of this age tend to sleep more than when they were younger. It is quite normal, unless she wants to sleep 24 hours a day.
If you do not have someone you can ask for a recommendation, you can use as a reference service http://www.wellness.com/professional.asp ... to find a geriatrician in your area.
