Breakfast before a blood test can distort the result GGT? Hello, I forgot not to eat breakfast before a blood test, but the only abnormal value is GGT, which was considerably higher than last year and above the limit. I almost never drink alcohol. Can it be the result of the breakfast? Thank you for your responses.
It can mess with a little, but "considerably higher" no. I would like to talk with your doctor to be sure. Remember, "normal" is only average. Medicine is not an exact science. What is normal for you may not be for everyone.
Example-most people are about 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. My body temp is 96.5 to 97 F. If I were in 98.6, I had a fever.
