My old 8mth just got a blood test. HCT was low at 35.9 and RBC was low at 4.18. Should I worry? as far as the HCT will, I take it as we speak right from the hematocrit. The normal level for a child who is 6 months to 1 year is 29-43 .. Seeing as how your child is 35.9 should not be a reason for alarm. The normal level of RBC 6 months 1 year is 3.5 to 5.2. It should also be no reason for alarm. If you are still worried about it, I would consult a doctor for your child to let him know that you want to keep an eye on this for mental health reasons. There was blood of others in the past who did better or was it the first?
