Hormone Therapy

Hormone TherapyHormone?

What is the best way to stop hormone therapy - slowly over time, or simply "cold turkey" so to speak? Or is this not a recommended approach - ie: once on hormone still with hormone therapy?

I have never used hormone therapy - I guess you can say that I refuse to use hormone therapy. What I do is use Bioidential natural hormone cream. You can consult www.askdrhelen.com and this site will explain everything. If you have questions regarding the discontinuation of hormone treatment, you can send your questions to them and they can answer. I had great success with this product. My girlfriend uses it and she recommended. Good luck!

Hard to say not knowing exactly what you get ... Have you lost weight? Do you exercise? Are you eating healthy foods, no sugar or processed food? These factors are important for your well-being .. I quit cold turkey and in no time the symptoms of my back but I did adjust my food, exercise and it helps.

Not knowing what you are taking, I can only give a generalization ... While you can often go "cold turkey", there may be side effects if you unlearn hormones is probably preferable. Halving the dose about every month.
