What is the difference between palliative care and palliative care? Palliative care is care given to elderly residents in long-term care facilities when they reach the end of life stage, which is mainly repositioning every two hours, ensuring that the resident is given oral care dental on a regular basis, and ensuring that the resident is comfortable, etc. Hospice care is about the same, but more often a separate group of nurses and aids are used around and does that with a resident who requires care Pallat on a daily basis (thus freeing regular help that work at the facility).
They are the same thing ....
When you go to a hospice, you will receive palliative care, this is when you want to give someone the best quality of life.
