Head to the city
The town of Pollensa itself is approximately 6 km inland from the port and the main concentration of villas Pollenca. This is a trip well worth it as the city is rooted in a long history which saw the participation of Egyptians, Romans, Moors and the Ottomans. There is not much evidence left of the Romans but, with the exception of a lovely old bridge crossing a stream running through the center of the city.

Perhaps the most rewarding thing you can do is go up the steep slope of the Cruci Via. It is around 350-400 steps, but the walk is lined with picturesque cypress, and your top price is not only the statue of Mare de Deu del Regardless of Creubut (the mother of God at the foot Cross), but also the fabulous panoramic view of the sweep.
