Hospice Respite Care

Hospice Respite CareHelp please. Hospice care issues?

My mother is very ill with COPD, emphysema and went to the hospital today. We want to bring home from the hospital where she is stable, and we need more help with home care. Brother taking care of her, but needs help. We had an aide HAV once a week for the relief of respite, but really needs at least a full day of rest. Can we get palliative care for her at home?
We already home helath care workers control over it, but they do not provide emergency care. She qulaify for Medicaid and was re-hospitalized Becaus over every 60 days, Medicare does not cover rehabilitation (it also prefers home care if we can help)
Do we tell her she is dying to get palliative care (I'm afraid of how it will react to this prediction?)

Hellllllllp!

Yes, you can obtain palliative care at home. If she is still in the hospital talk to the social asigned to his case. They will give you all the information you need. I'm sorry for everything that you are going through.
