(Women only please) I'm sooooo afraid to go to a clinic for women, can you give me the motivation PLEASE ?!?!? I'm 20 and have never been to one. I had sex for 6 years and I knew I would have been all this time, okay, but my mother never ever talked to me about it, sex or anything else. I know this is not an excuse, but I'm just super panicked and never had enough guts to make an appt. Also, I read that one in 10 women suffer from PCOS and symptoms seem familiar. Is this true? I have periods very late all the time, I'm not pregnant because it lasts for years and years. My friend tried to convince me to go but what if they tell me that I have a crazy kind of STD that has no sign or what? I'd rather not know as I intend to get pregnant and a doctor, then seal! Seriously, please help, I need motivation bad, the more I now live in a big city and everyone here is so rude, what if my doctor conferences because I have never been a clinic for women. I am soooo concerned about the situation!
Honey, do not worry!
You're hardly the first woman to wait long to get a gyn exam. Do not dwell on this point, the emphasis on the fact that you do something now and you are a woman to be responsible and take care of your health. :)
There's really nothing to fear. Expect to see the dr. sit with you and ask you some questions. Answer them honestly, including your sexual history b / c she is there to treat you not to judge you.
Tell him this is your first time get a gyn exam and she will understand and explain carefully what this means and during the exam, it will tell you what she does as she did and ask if you are in the ease.
In the real exam, including pelvic examination is done quickly and will not hurt, although some parts of this will feel weird. I am 15 years old and when I got it I was nervous, but it was ok. The first time is the most frightening, and after that they are merely a nuisance!
Relax .. it will be OK! Hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact if you want:)
Thinking the worst case. I think things like that when I go to the doctor, as if I am told that I have an incurable illness rar or something? They will not, but you need to go. If you do not want to receive a diagnosis of anything, you must make an appointment scheduled. If you do not constantly be exposed to various germs and viruses and you know you do something, and then one day you'll know you have something bad. Thus, as a preventive measure, go now, because it will be easier.
First, a doctor should not make you a lesson not to enter now ... secondly, if you have an STD or PCOS or even cancer, you want to know ASAP, you will not want to sit around and wait for that sh ** to get worse and you can not fix it .. . go to the doc, they do not bite, you might be there one hour at most, but it is harmless
If you have some kind of STD you want them to tell you because if you plan to have children one day, some STDs can stop it! Private clinics are, and the ladies are so nice. Do not think they do not see anything before. My mother never talked with me, but you must make sure that you go to Pap tests to make sure you do not have cancer of the cervix, and regular checks std. Its anything but be in good health and the fact that your boyfriend wants you to go is great! shows he cares about you and your well-being. Just call and make an appointment and bring your bf or best friend along if it makes you feel better. Youre not alone in this position! good luck
you ask many questions, so good, first thing when I'm nervous, is to take a deep breath, take one and leave it and blow. Take a.
