Free psychiatric / mental / ADHD Support New York Long Island /? Is there any place on Long Island or New York that provides free mental help, and is able to provide medicine prescriptions? Or any other place on Long Island that accepts 1199 SEIU insurance?
I have serious problems concentrating, and several other symptoms of what appears to be ADHD. BTW, I am 22, I would like to set me loose before I turn 23 and my insurance from my parents, so I have to find another insurance provider. Thank you
Depending on your income, you may be eligible for insurance funded.
Personally, I have family Affinity Health a NYS funded program that has been great for me. I have no copays for Psych or therapy, and there are lots of Dr in the network.
the call and know it takes two months for coverage to kick in, but it's fantastic.
Depending on where you are on Long Island youshould check SUNY hospitals. As they are teaching hospitals that you might luck with that, or they can refer you to programs and other physicians. I wish you good luck with it.
