Medicine at St Andrews, Dundee and Glasgow? Hello, I'm hoping to study medicine at one of the universities mentioned above but I'm struggling to choose my subjects higher. Unfortunately, I have only taken one science (biology) at standard grade, I'll have to plant more than chemistry. I think to take: business management, English, human biology and modern studies. Any suggestions.
(Also essential math because it is my weakest subject, I predicted 6 1 A 2 and an A for SG I also shaddowed two doctors working in an opticians and a Saturday and a hospice volunteer for a Sunday) Is that sound ok? Thank you
Hello there. Looks like you're on the right track with your experience! It will certainly be in your favor. In terms of issues, unfortunately, I chose the arts, so I am not qualified to tell you what it takes. However, I would suggest you contact the universities you are interested and asking them what matters most to take and what they are looking for input. This will help define your objectives to work. If you are unable to contact them, I suggest you speak with your career counselor, then they will be able to tell you what are the best subjects to take.
Regarding the university, Dundee is the best university in Scotland for the time for medicine. Although most people think of the University of Dundee is not good, it made very positive feedback for art, medicine and computing. I did not go to the University of Dundee, but I love the city.
Good luck with your choice and put them on the course you want.
