Orthopedic Back Brace

I was in a car accident a little over a year ago I had a preexisting back problem that has been restarted, I've been through physical therapy, injections and a back brace. My surgeon informed me that surgery would be my best option. I fear alittle, but I'm tired of being in pain. Can anyone tell me what to expect after surgery? What kind of trial do I? I was stamped on my return from work in a construction zone.

I was in a car accident while traveling home from work in April last year and I had horrible sciatic pain in left leg and chiropractor / gym / etc cortesone injections did not help.

So I had a laminectomy at L5/S1 in July last year and since the operation I had pain in my legs today. I also lost 3 jobs in the last year due to absence from work and now I am on workers' compensation insurance company if my employer paid for my work time.

I'm not too sure if this is the same in your country but here in Australia we can either go through a third party claim (which is the insurer of the person who hit you) or you're traveling home from work, you can go through the insurer of your workers compensation.

Unfortunately I can not tell you if your operation is a success because it's different with everyone. I can say however that it helped the pain sciatica (shooting pain in one leg), but now I am rotten pain in both legs and pain in the operation site if, alas, it was not good for me.

"Back surgery" is rather vague. Is he talking about a spinal fusion? I had one of those in my neck in '95 (same procedure, any field).

I would be happy to share my experience with you if that is what it is.

I was very sweet of the spinal cord. with fusion.i was almost paralyzed from the neck down.i have problems from my neck was in a wheelchair lumbar.i well. Now I can walk so I still have a ways wall pain will.but nothing like i did.like i said it depends on the type of fare sugary.as a lawsuit there a time limit to complete . goal that you have some sort of case, but with more I could not tell you.
