Saskatoon Health Region to provide on the application of information practices that support legislative requirements in access and privacy to the government in 2008 & Health Technologies Conference and Exhibition

2008 - Toronto, Canada - Jayden Stephens Privacy, Saskatoon Health Region will present a case study on implementing information practices that support legislative requirements in access and privacy in government in 2008 & Health Technologies Conference and Expo. The conference will be held on April 15 to 16, 2008 at the Design Exchange in Toronto Ontario.

During this interactive presentation, Jayden Stevens, Chief Privacy Officer will detail the measures taken in Saskatoon Health Region to create and deploy a program to access and privacy to 11,500 employees in over 80 facilities under its competence. Responsible for the implementation of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy, in addition to the Law on Protection of medical information from health facilities with the Saskatoon area, and provide an overview of best practices for ensure legislative compliance with each of these laws.

Based on his experience, Jayden explore the opportunity created by technology to gather, connect and communicate large amounts of patient information, and how to implement information practices that support legislative requirements. It will reveal what they have learned about how to respond to inquiries in a timely manner, while respecting the best practices for sharing information officer of health of the patient.

Jayden will join a range of great speakers, including Dr. Robert Bell, President and CEO of University Health Network, Richard Reiner of Telus Security Melonie Warfel by Adobe Systems, and Laurie Hicks Intelligent Systems for Agency Health (SSHA).
