Holfeld Daniel is a photographer engaged to fashion, beauty, advertising photography and art in office. Photography is his passion comes first and after yoga, where he worked since he was 16.

A few months ago he started practicing Bikram yoga, 90 minute cardiovascular work of 26 postures done in a studio heated to 40.5 ° C.

For the first time the European Championships were held at Yoga Dublin last month and Daniel decided to go forward and the competition. He started and will continue to represent Ireland at the World Cup yoga Feb. 13 in Los Angeles.

A: Daniel, why did you decide to participate in this contest in the first place?

D: At first I was very shy about competing. I had never heard of a yoga contest before! But I slowly began to change my mind when I saw the other competitors Irish training and pushing themselves to achieve their objectives in time for the competition. So I registered and joined the band. So I thought: "Why not!". I've played since I was 16, so it was time for a challenge and see how far I could go with it. So I wanted to show the guys, because I think people tend to think of yoga as a sport for girls!

A: How are you training for a competition like this around your working life?
D: It was not easy. In the race for the competition I was practicing every day after work the evening and then making additional courses on weekends. Then, one Friday night and Sunday I would about 5 hours of yoga. It took a lot of my time, but it was rewarding and exciting to see the results in my body, using different muscles and to see a best practice that encouraged me to continue, no matter how much he ate in my spare time . I think you will find time to do something you like and where you can see the results!

A: How can you discipline yourself to train when you've had a bad day, for example?
D: The hardest thing to do with all the training is to begin the session. So, if I had a bad day, I always say "just start" and the rest will take care of itself. And so, in the first 10 minutes you have a great session. Often times when you feel worse you end up with the best training. To maintain regular discipline my body reminds me, because you feel so good with regular training and with something good, you do not want it to stop. In addition, group morale is high in the studio, we encourage each other much, which really helps.

A: What motivates you to continue?
D: I am motivated by setting new goals for myself. With yoga, you can always learn new things about your body and how it reacts to a more advanced training. The results you get show how the body is malleable and how it can manage. For example, when I think I can go no further, I always try, even if it means stretching a few centimeters higher, then you will see that you can do, so next time you try again. Also, I remember how I feel well after
Training is a great motivation.

A: What inspires you?
D: This contest was a huge source of inspiration , putting myself this as a goal. The two current world champions came and held classes and do demos. Seeing Courtney Mace decision was definitely inspiring. In fact, I will go to New York to practice with him.
