Psychology Applied To Modern LifeExplain what is meant by the paradox of progress and the manner in which theorists have explained.?

Textbook: Psychology applied to modern life

There is a book, The Progress Paradox: How life gets better while people feel worse. This kind of explains it.

I thought of that when I look at the health clubs. Back in the day, people went to work and came home having exercised enough that health clubs have failed. Now people sit at work all day and health clubs are sustainable. Furthermore, why do they have parking in health clubs? Would it be better if people went to them?

Many people in the description of their childhood when they were poor, generally add, but we did not know we were poor. It kind of implies that they were happy with less progress.

We seek and desire to progress if it will make us happy, but how can we expect to be happy when we get there if we are not happy about the trip?

THE MEANING OF THE PARADOX progress is that if you manage to achieve what ever you decide to do THEN WILLTELLYOU theorist you've actually accomplished something.
