Nobody thinks Virco chairs are bad for your back? In my school district public everything that we have is Virco chairs. I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who thinks these chairs are bad and contribute to back pain. At my school we have the contemporary 3000 Series and 3000 Series Classic.

These two office chairs are terrible for me to sit down and I despise the contemporary with the 3000 series because they have a hard plastic seat. If educators want students to do better in school, they should make us more comfortable while we do our work, instead of focusing on the pain of our A **** sitting on the concrete.
Also, I am a person of high and since the beginning of the school year from sitting in those chairs, I feel like I shrunk because my back is not properly supported there. I know that some public school districts by Virco because they are cheap. Someone else has a complaint about these chairs? And has anyone found a way to be comfortable while sitting on chairs, Virco?
I agree with you. The person who designed these chairs should have to spend the rest of his life in one.
When I was teaching full time the solution was to take my own in my chair. Many other teachers did, too.
