Is birth control down a womans labido? how to overcome this? my girlfriend loves sex, and me too, but she went on the pill recently and completely labido death. sometimes she cries because she does not want to have sex more, even if she knows her abnormal for her.
The doc said it takes three months for the woman's body adjust to the pill, but we havn't had sex in over a week ... what the hell?
Losing libido on the pill is the worst! It sucks for you, but believe me when I say it's waaay worse for her! It is really important to support her and not blame him or get angry. If you are angry with her, it will just make things worse and it becomes an emotional and physical problems. Having a boyfriend / spouse who tries to understand and do everything they can to help is the only thing you can do.
Ask the doc if it is on the pill lowest dose of estrogen. Low doses will help keep the sex drive and it will also reduce some of the risks of being on the pill. (Blood clots and the risk of breast cancer)
because it affects the libido that has to do with hormones levels in the body of the woman to prevent pregnancy. pills cause water retention in the body where weight gain. but decreased libido can be overcome. Try changing the pills and sometimes u need to do more work.
use condoms instead!
Well, I'd say let her go to her feelings and she is willing to wait longer the pill takes a while to get used to, but when it is used for the pill, so it will most likely want to have sex and it could be much more better for you both
